SHINGO SHIMIZU




SHINGO SHIMIZU is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design’sCommunication and Design program. The Montreal-born, Toronto-bred designer was exposed to drawing at an early age through his father's graphic design work. After many successful years working as a full-time designer, Shimizu pursued to work independently, to follow his passion, Illustration. His vector-based style echoes visual cues derived from pop art to Manga to his latest obsessions. Music is another driving force in his visual language, as he DJs nights in local bars and clubs. Shimizu had produced visual creatives for numerous clients including Coca-Cola, Virgin Mobile and Toyota.

Since 2001, Zeitguised has been the strange, obscure twin of contemporary zeitgeist imagineering. The work of Zeitguised has been featured in galleries, exhibitions, publications and screenings around the world. Awards include Best Music Video at Oberhausen SFF in 2005, Best Design at Resfest in 2005 and recently Best Experimental at Ottawa IAF, 2009.

Nate Williams




Nate Williams, aka Alexander Blue, an artist, illustrator and designer has worked extensively in various facets of the illustration industry with a wide variety of clients. His illustration work has been geared to both adults and children and has appeared in magazines, advertising, publishing, music, fashion, textiles, home decor, merchandise, posters, social expression and newspapers. His work has been published, exhibited or reviewed in the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain.

James (Jim) Flora is best-known for his wild jazz and classical album covers for Columbia Records (late 1940s) and RCA Victor (1950s). He authored and illustrated 17 popular children's books and flourished for decades as a magazine illustrator. Few realize, however, that Flora (1914-1998) was also a prolific fine artist with a devilish sense of humor and a flair for juxtaposing playfulness, absurdity andviolence.
